I’ve been all around town since Black Friday. And I haven’t had a legit shower since then.

New Moon was the biggest waste of money in the form of a movie, I swear.
I’ve been back in Baton Rouge for a week, and it’s been pretty great so far.
Last night I got drunk and played Scattergories, only to be sobered up by good conversation with amazing people (one of whom had a beard to end all other beards). Things are okay. Things are better than okay. I just knocked on wood after typing that, it being Friday the 13th and all. I am not without my suspicions. But seriously, I’m happy. The quarter is almost over, and I can go home and get the rest and relaxation needed for Winter.

I absolutely love going through a ton of trouble to get a shelf only to find out that I have no use for it because it’s too damn small. Although… if I take out every other shelf, it’ll work just fine. It won’t look all that nice, but fuck it.

I’ve also been putting on a few pounds. Not good.
So apparently the young lady who coerced me into making this thing is happy I’m using it. And y’know… whatever makes the ladies happy.
Despite the ridiculousness of Lost, I keep watching. I’m on the sixth episode of season one, so my headway is very little. But that’s okay.
