Movie of the Moment: The Grey
My feelings about this movie are many and varied.  On one hand, I think it’s a lovely film with so much pain and effort put into it, and the few feel-good moments in the story really shine through in brief, bold strokes.  But on the other hand, it’s a B-movie.  It’s kind of like my generation’s “The Edge”.  Only better?  I’m not sure.  Trading Anthony Hopkins for Liam Neeson, and Alec Baldwin and that guy from Lost for a bunch of actors you may or may not know about… it’s a toss-up.  The ending is a big reason why I can’t decide if I liked this movie or disliked it.  I won’t spoil anything, but I’ll just say this - the part of me that enjoys Liam Neeson’s B-movies was disappointed.  But the part of me that appreciates good storytelling was very pleased!
